On May 1st at 54 Below, Julia makes her solo show debut as Ruby Manger, an aged broadway diva who makes her return to the New York Stage. Ruby will re-visit her greatest career highlights and lowlights, from winning her first Tony award for her role as Trudy the blind ghost, to her not-so-secret love affairs, and finally to her life as a recovering food addict (bagels mostly). It will be a ridiculous evening with many laughs and special guests, including Julia Murney ( Wicked, The Wild Party ) as herself, and Andrew Kober ( Les Miserables, Hair ) as Jean Dijon, and Noel Carey as Randy Newman. The show is created and written by Mattison including some original songs from "hit broadway musicals" (that never really existed).
